Messy LAB/Ceramic Collective
Messy Lab, a collective of ceramics, is a cultural association born with the intent to support and enhance the tradition of ceramics through the promotion of courses, seminars and cultural trips. The Association Messy Lab is active mainly in Liguria and Piedmont. In particular, since 2016 is engaged in the recovery and restoration of a ceramics workshop located in an extremely fascinating environment: the Ecovillaggio Torri Superiore. The intent of the association is also to promote a responsible tourism. Nature surrounds the Ecovillage: it is possible to venture in long walks between the olive groves and the low Ligurian mountains, as well as to dive and swim in absolute freedom in the splendid natural water Conche of the river Bevera. An unforgettable experience!
A short distance from the Ecovillage is possible to reach the sea and the famous beach of the Balzi Rossi. Always heading towards France you will encounter the Hanbury Botanical Gardens, the characteristic Menton and a little bit further Nice and Antibes, where famous artists like Matisse, Picasso and Chagall have lived and worked. Moreover, without going too far from, there are Italian villages such as Dolceacqua, Apricale, Airole and the ancient part of thr town of Ventimiglia, which still hold an authentic atmosphere.
Recently the association has started to collaborate with the Cascina Malerbe of San Raffaele Cimena (TO) and, together with Stefania Spanedda, Messy Lab is developing a new project to promote a rural and responsible tourism in Piedmont through the promotion of pottery courses.
All packages include a guided tour in the company of a resident of upper towers who will tell you about the history of the ecovillage and show you the paths that you can do on foot in the free moments. For those who want it will be possible to organize independently an excursion to Ventimiglia, where you can take a dip in the salt water.
The last night of the course will end with a festive moment. Get ready, it will be a surprise whose ingredients will be fun, music…. and much more!
