Welcome to Torri Superiore
Ecovillage and Holiday Center in the western Liguria
The medieval village of Torri Superiore is a small jewel of popular architecture located at the foothill of the Ligurian Alps, a few kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea and the French border, close to the coastal town of Ventimiglia. Originally from the thirteenth century and built entirely of stone, the village is structured in three main blocks with more than 160 rooms, all connected by an intricate fabric of passages and stairways. Its complex and fascinating structure has often been compared to a fortress or a labyrinth perched on the mountainside, which reaches 1300 meters. The village has been completely restored and its welcoming structure is open for stays and holidays: ecotourism, courses, meetings and programs on environmental education.
